Upon arrival at JFK airport in New York we were met by some Sri Lankan friends. From the airport were taken to a hotel which has been arranged for us. We were very tired after a long flight, and after checking into the hotel, had dinner, and rested.
Following day was a Saturday, and after having breakfast with our friends, went with them, looking for an apartment.
Whole day was spent driving from one place to the other. With the Grace of God, we found a place
which we thought was the best out of all places seen, so far.
On Sunday afternoon, the broker who was with us through out, apartment hunting operation, took us to the Office which managed the building. All plans were made to sign the lease on Monday, that was on the following day.
